POFM1201 : Externship I

This course serves as a critical opportunity for students to apply the skills and knowledge gained from their previous courses in a practical, virtual setting. Students are expected to complete daily activities that simulate the duties and responsibilities of a medical office employee. Through virtual simulations and interactive exercises, students will gain hands-on experience in areas such as patient interactions, electronic health records (EHR) management, insurance processing, and appointment scheduling. By engaging in these activities, students will reinforce their learning and develop the skills needed to work effectively in a medical office environment.
